Theme 5: Transport and Access

The key objectives for this theme are:

• Broadmeadows will be easier to move around, by foot, bicycle and vehicle
• Broadmeadows Station and surrounds will be attractive, safe and easily accessible
• Potential new links across Pascoe Vale Road and the rail line will help reduce the east-west divide
• New development that hides parking from street view will be encouraged
• People will be less dependent on their cars
