A bright outlook for Broadmeadows Station and surrounds

Broadmeadows Station and the surrounding area are set for a major upgrade thanks to $30 million funding from the Victorian Government.

The existing station and facilities require an upgrade to ensure better accessibility for all members of the community and improve safety.

The funding will be used to upgrade the existing station facilities and provide a new entrance to the station and a bus interchange area.  Other works will improve access to and from the station.

The project is anticipated to commence in 2012.
