The Town Centre Precinct is the heart of Broadmeadows.  It has the potential to transform from an area dominated by roads and car parks and take on the qualities of a mature city centre - characterised by welcoming and vibrant public places and great architecture.

The precinct would be known for its interesting, safe and colourful streetscapes, laneways and public spaces with strong emphasis on pedestrian movements and experiences.  The precinct would welcome people of all ages and cultures as a place to live, work and visit, both day and night.

Strong growth in employment serving both regional and local communities will be encouraged. as well as cultural, entertainment, hospitality and residential activities.
